These Terms and Conditions of Booking apply to all classes and membership Bookings.
By completing the booking process at our website, you are accepting all the terms and conditions in this booking agreement. Once you have indicated your acceptance, this agreement will become legally binding on you and us.
You should only join if you have read them and accepted them.
Timetables
Crawley Bachata Salsa Academy has the right to change hours of operation, classes , locations and instructors, at any time and without prior notice for the member. Any such changes will be notified to you during the classes, through either a newsletter published on our website, Facebook, WhatsApp and/or mailing/emailing to your last known address.
Courses & Membership
All booked Courses and monthly membership fees are not refundable.
.Classes
You must present yourself 5 min before classes and check in with teacher for each class you attend
You only can attend your classes according to your allocated dancing level.
Members understand that if they fail to attend a course for 2 weeks in a row, they will lose a lot of valuable information and will need to catch-up with the group by booking extra private class or learning from recorded video
Public holidays
The academy will be closed for public holidays and between Christmas and New Year each calendar year and during this time your membership will not be suspended, as we have factored this closure period into our membership prices. Should you wish to freeze your membership the regular freeze conditions below apply.
Minimum Age
Membership is limited to persons who are at least 18 years of age to be able to attend all courses
Membership Renewal/Cancellation
Monthly Memberships will automatically renew each month. If you want to opt-out of the membership renewal you need to inform us in writing by giving us 1 months’ notice via info@crawleybachatasalsa.com . We do not refund money for memberships
Time Freeze
MEDICAL / BUSINESS RELOCATION
Time Freeze is granted on written application for MEDICAL and BUSINESS RELOCATION reasons for a minimum of 1 moth up to a maximum of 26 weeks within a 12 month period (based on membership effective date).
The Freeze request must be accompanied by a doctor’s certificate (medical) or an employer’s letter (business relocation) at the time of the Freeze request.
HOLIDAYS/OTHER REASONS
For all other reasons, Time Freeze is granted on written application for a minimum of 1 month block. Crawley Bachata Salsa MUST be notified in writing 2 weeks in advance prior the Time Freeze period. The Time Freeze period can maximum occur for 3 months (12 weeks) .
You may not Freeze your Membership for a longer period than set out in the medical certificate/employer’s letter. Your Membership will automatically recommence after the date you have specified in your written Request to Freeze.
Time Freeze cannot be applied during free time periods received from promotional campaigns, raffle wins or other special occasions.
Member’s Assumption of Risk
You must not participate in this class or event if you have an infection, contagious illness or physical ailment, such as an open cut or sore, there is any other risk, however small, to other participants and instructors.
You are aware that the use of the premises and its facilities and your participation in classes and programs conducted by CBS may involve strenuous activity and special risks. You assume the foregoing risks and accept personal responsibility for any injury (including but not limited to personal injury and disability), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability or expense of any kind or nature, that you may suffer arising out of or in connection with the use of the studio’s facilities or participation in classes/fitness programs.
Limitation of Liability
In consideration of the grant of Membership to you, you hereby release and forever discharge TS from all actions, suits, proceedings, claims, demands, losses, damages, penalties, fines, costs and expenses howsoever arising that you may have incurred arising from or in connection with your Membership and/or use of facilities and equipment, or from being on CBS’ premises to the fullest extent permitted by law and whether caused or contributed to (directly or indirectly) by any act of negligence, breach of duty or default/omission on the part of CBS and its respective owners, directors, officers, employees or agents.
In consideration of the grant of membership to you, you agree that CBS will not be liable for any loss, damage or theft of any of your property. Further, CBS will not be liable for any death, personal injury or illness occurring on premises or as a result of use of facilities or participation in classes.
